A tint of English roses and cherry blossoms illuminate a strand of fine and lively bubbles. Harmoniously bucolic, the first fruity notions of grapefruit and wild strawberries enrich notes of fresh tobacco, cinnamon and liquorice stick. The final note is truly gourmande, evoking vanilla as well as the frothy nature of homemade jam. Fresh and soft pin the palate with a morning atmosphere of toast, butter and blueberries, striking just the right balance between freshness and development.

A coral-like robe, with subtle orange reflections reminiscent of antique roses. A joyful sparkle. The finesse and the elegance of the vintage first express themselves through notes of freshly picked strawberries, gradually becoming more intense with hints of mild pepper, vanilla pods and sandalwood. The sheer breadth of the floral element evokes a shower of rose petals. A vivacious start, full of red fruit aromas – strawberries, raspberries and red-currants – and some generous floral notes. The texture has the silky-rich smoothness of a pomegranate or hibiscus syrup. Harmonious finale.

The pale colour of gold is illuminated with lighter pale-green hues. The generous effervescence is enhanced by a brilliant sparkle. The bouquet is perfectly balanced between elegance and richness, the elegance expressed in notes of foliage such as fern, tea and linden, and the richness in floral aromas including jasmine, honeysuckle and narcissus. The finish is on pastry aromas, expressing amplitude with buttery notes, as well as intensity with spicy aromas such as cinnamon and vanilla, with a subtle woody touch. A sensation of mature freshness stands out from the texture of this wine. Initial silky notes of candied apricot and quince lead to smooth textures of dried fruits, hazelnuts and almonds, with the structure developing notes of greengages and black tea.

Golden in appearance, on the bouquet the aromas are autumnal and warm with notes of praline and lightly toasted hazelnuts. The palate is rich, as would be expected from a warm and generous vintage, with intense notes of dried apricots, dates and figs. Full bodied and layered, and lasting on the finish.

A radiant, sustained and very luminous pale golden hue with fine and graceful bubbles. A first bouquet of pastry with notes of cocoa, pralin and fresh almonds, a delicious sensation half-way between richness, voluptuousness and subtlety that recalls tiramisu, candied fruits and paris-brest with its hazelnut tender cream. Fresh notes of aromatic herbs just picked such as dill or tarragon enhance the pastry impression. A crisp and melting impression suggests the texture and lightness of wafer. The wine reveals itself through the fruity notes of white peaches, fresh almonds and pineapple or tropical candied fruits.
Maison Gardet came into being in the late 19th century when Charles Gardet, a shopkeeper with an adventurous outlook for the time, founded his establishment in Epernay. In the 1930s, Georges Gardet, son of the founder, moved into a Belle Epoque residence in Chigny-les-Roses, with a very precise aim: to develop the Champagne Gardet brand, whilst continuing to supply wines of unimpeachable quality. To do so, he based his method on the secular champagne making rules: high quality grapes supply and a wine making process fully orientated towards excellence. This purpose and the respect of tradition are still at the heart of the current owners preoccupations: the Prieux family. Deeply attached to their roots, the Champagne region, the family has been working in the arboricultural and agricultural sectors for years; passing on their love for their land from generation to generation. These values have shaped the family spirit which is now perpetuated by Christopher Prieux, president of Maison Gardet. Maintaining the quality and character of their Champagnes year after year, whilst taking advantage of the latest technological innovations in order to master even more finely every parameter of methode champenoise winemaking… The essence of Maison Gardet’s expertise lies in this priceless balance between tradition and modernity – a balance that defines the Gardet style.
A yellow golden colour that shines with a soft, lively and jubilant glow. The bouquet is immediately delicious and fresh, lively citrus notes (orange and lemon zest) mingling with very ripe pear and peach notes develop on to deeper smooth accents that reflect the wine’s robust structure and identity. Its crisp and generous nature gives the champagne strength and presence. On the palate, it reveals sweet and spiced vanilla and floral (tuberose) notes combined with hints of white peppercorns and a pleasing and intense minerality. The wine’s sparkle is constant with an unforgettable delectable stream of bubbles. The “white and red” grape varieties are in harmony, bringing an elegant and balanced structure to the wonderfully persistent aromas.
After several years spent planning, experimenting, and building a distillery in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn, New York, Greenhook Ginsmiths released their Flagship, American Dry Gin in February 2012 to an enchanted audience. Founded by Gin Enthusiast Steven DeAngelo and his brother Philip, Greenhook Ginsmiths have quickly emerged as America’s Premier Gin Artisans. Greenhook Ginsmiths craft their Gin on a custom-made, Copper Pot Still, designed to work in conjunction with a Vacuum, which allows them to remove Air Pressure from the still during distillation. This technique, known as “Vacuum Distillation”, allows Greenhook Ginsmiths to distill their Gin at low temperatures and prevents the delicate aromas of their Botanicals from becoming stewed with excessive heat during distillation. This unique process creates a beautifully Fragrant Gin with lifted aromas and vibrant flavors unlike any other.
Crystal clear in colour. Fragrant juniper and fresh coriander with parma violet. The palate is fresh and clean, dry piney juniper and chamomile with earthy orris root and forward spice. Juniper lingers with warming ginger, cinnamon spice and chamomile. Overall dry, rooty and spicy.
Sipsmith is a small independent distiller crafting truly artisanal spirits of uncompromising quality. The master distiller, Jared Brown, crafts each product by hand, in genuinely small batches just a few hundred bottles a time. This delivers stunning spirits that are smooth, full of charater and have true intensity of flavour. Made from just the heart cut of the run, Sipsmith is the only ‘one-shot gin on the market. This means that we only put enough botanicals into the still for that particular batch. What comes out the other end is our gin. We believe that the one-shot method gives our product a different level of intensity of flavour.
Floral summer meadow notes followed by mellow rounded juniper and zesty, citrus freshness. The gentle mouthfeel combines with a lemon tart and orange marmalade flavours, ahead of a spicy juniper finish.
