From the Aberlour Distillery established in 1879, this Whisky shows subtle aromas of spice and hints of autumn fruits with a soft and long satisfying finish. Aged for 10 years in traditional and Sherry oak casks this classic Malt Whisky will appeal to true connoisseurs.
-
Sweets for the sweet: Aberlour has always made a subtle, almost delicate malt, although with a goodly hit of sherry-barrel oak to keep it from floating away. The non-chill filtered version foregoes the fine filtering that prevents whisky from clouding up when you add ice. It also sucks out just a little bit of the flavor. Without it, the Aberlour is perceptibly richer. A malt for a winter’s evening by the fire.
-
Roses, candyfloss, slightly buttery. Perfect balance of sherry and the malty, spicy, house character. The two elements are tightly combined, with the spicy flavours emerging slowly: nutmeg, aniseed and emphatic orange-flower. Complex and sophisticated.
-
More subtle and complex than the new 12 year old, and not as sweet. Creamy in texture and floral on the nose, with dried vanilla, gentle spice, nectarine, kiwi, plum, and lemon gum drops. Soft, elegant finish with a hint of mint. Great balance of a variety of flavors and lots of finesse. A well-crafted whisky!
-
Only the very best casks have been selected, ensuring a whisky of unsurpassed richness: it is by far the most indulgent Aberlour expression. A whisky of perfect structure, the ultimate expression of Aberlour.
-

This is a great choice if you like peated Islay whiskies but are looking for something new to try. There’s plenty of peat smoke here, especially on the bouquet but you also get some very pleasant pear, vanilla and honey notes. Overall it is quite simple but very, very enjoyable.
-
A fresh and lively combination of crisp, green orchard fruits, stem ginger and hints of tangerine mellows to creamy vanilla with a delicate note of mint and a gentle twist of citrus, all held together with a sweet barley back note.

Enticing and silky smooth, this is the quintessential Cardhu. Glowing with notes of golden honey and delicate, fruity character on the finish.
-
Cardhu 15 Year Old, part of the aged range, is subtle, delicate and creamy. Masculine lines underscore the luxury version of this Cardhu with its intense notes of toffee, chocolate and Crème Brûlée.

-
One of Speyside's greats. Elegant and austere. Gradually, almost reluctantly, reveals itself. A palate blossoming with flavours, and a long, lingering, finish.
-
This 10 Year Old Single Malt is a brilliant introduction into the complex and flavoursome world of aged single malts with approachable flavours of hazelnut and ripe orchard fruits. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks, the Glen Grant 10 Year Old finishes with a soft, creamy mouthfeel.
-
A rich amber color. There are luscious old fruits—pineapple, dried peach, apricot—and puffs of coal-like smokiness. In time, sweet spices (cumin especially) emerge. Superbly balanced. The palate, while fragile, still has real sweetness alongside a lick of treacle. It can take a drop of water, allowing richer, darker fruits to emerge. The finish is powerful, long, and resonant. Superb, not over-wooded, and a fair price for such a rarity.
-
Aromatic, slightly astringent. Herbal, eucalyptus oil, smoky toffee. Acetone, dark chocolate. Espresso. The palate is warming. Smoked meats, charcoal, mixed fruits, dark toffee, slightly herbal. The finish is quite long and robust with big oak undertones.
-
Sweet in the nose. Very floral with golden syrup molasses. This whisky is very heavy, with flavours of syrup and rich fruit cake present, along with lots of alcohol-preserved fruit and a hint of oak. It has a deep, long lasting finish.
-
Dark rich pitch pine panels. Let this whisky have a minute in the glass to breathe then it truly comes alive, lovely thick viscous nose. Lots of sherry, and fresh fruit that has been soaked in brandy. Leathery undertones, light tobacco, sweet and bitter in one. Light mustiness earthy and historical on the finish.
-
You will want to remember the light fresh and fruity flavour forever. A great whisky to end a wonderful evening – but you will want it to last until dawn!
-
A delicate bouquet, which may be surprising, taking into account the color of the drink. However, if you give it a little “breathe”, it reveals strong sherry tones, followed by a fountain shades of exotic fruits, lychee up from papaya. As one would expect from this level of whiskey and endurance, it is very distinct feeling tones of oak. Adding a small amount of water softens the tannins and reveal tones of Armagnac brandy. This is a very powerful whiskey.
-
Rich dark mahogany. Heavy in rich cocoa beans. An old fashioned Gentleman's Club with Chesterfield chairs, polished banisters and old wood panels. Dry, liquorice, heavy tannins. Again as on the nose, rich dark German/Belgian chocolate distinct bitterness that sets the whisky up perfectly. Long finish oozing class and power.
-
Dark in color. Rich, roasted notes, of sherry and leather. The palate shows structure of perfect harmony, smooth, creamy mouth. Creative toasted notes and a finale of great elegance.

-
Remarkably fresh and vibrant after such a long maturation. Sherried fruit notes surround toffee sweetness and touches of pear drop, with an ever changing combination of christmas pudding, coffee and plump sultanas. A powerful and big dram on the palate with a big finish.
-
Lovely, rich, dark copper colour, experience the fruity aromas. The nose also offers light tannins, almonds and a hint of soft leather. It is vibrant with some smoke and soft violet notes.
-
Spicy and sweet nose, big sherry aromas. This whisky is a must for big sherry lovers, robust and full. A true powerhouse from the Glenfarclas warehouses. Slight bitterness giving straight away to a big sweet offering, lots of Demerara sugar and sweet Turkish coffee. The finish shows creme brulee, most certainly vanilla sweetness and burnt brown sugar.
-
Another Glenfarclas's increasingly impressive Family Casks series. An appetising colour that suggests bags of fruits, spice and all kinds of tertiary complexities. Undoubtedly another stunner from this brilliant collection.
-
Dark amber in colour. The bouquet shows cherry, toffee caramel, blueberries. The palate is pretty sweet, slight spiciness, marzipan. Full bodied, rounded, hint of leather, tannin coming through on the aftertaste. Long on the finish.
-
Dark amber gold, a complex full-bodied Glenfarclas. Intense aromas rich tones of liquorice, cinnamon, raisins, vanilla and honey and a hint of peat smoke. Also some earthy undertones present. Sweet layer of honey caramel and toffee. Gloriously smooth, smoky and a long-lasting finish.
-
Very, very smooth, rich creamy, gives your entire mouth a full whisky work out. A long lasting finish, again very smooth.
-
Flavours fighting in your mouth, first into the sweetness then bitter orange tones push their way through. An interesting malt that many will love.
-
Burnt sugar, toffee apples, cinnamon and a bit of chocolate and over apricot. A rich, sweet flavour, lots of dark chocolate, stewed peaches and pencil shavings. A tiny amount of smoke as well. This is glorious.
-
Almost like mulled wine which develops into floral attributes. Initial caramel makes way for toffee apples, then onto apples and pears. A perfect balance between whisky and sherry.
-
Acetone, citrus fruit sweetness and a bit of warm brandy. A soft aroma. The palate is then hot and sweet, a lot of raisins and a bit of burnt jam and a lot of spice.
-
With a powerful nose of vanilla and walnuts, this distinct whisky from Glenfarclas is light and fresh. Add a little water and let it open up to reveal delightful pear drop flavours.
-
This whisky bears a vague similarity to the standard 25 Years Old. This is the creme version. Light oakiness peppered with walnuts.
-
The palate is very dry, a maltiness with lots of dry cereal and a little charcoal. Very clean and very soft. A bit dusty and you get a 'rain on wet tarmac' flavour.
-
A light whisky on the eye. The bouquet on this whisky is divine. Very sweet and well balanced. A buttery smooth whisky, with caramel undertones. A short intense silky finish.
-
Although it is a little spirity, once the initial power of the whisky has passed there are some very pleasant floral aromas. In fact, this is floral whisky from start to finish, almost like camomile tea.
-
A great creamy buttery whisky, lovely light caramel toffee, with the texture and flavours of Glenfarclas fudge.
-
This whisky has a truly amazing nose, so fresh and vibrant with light esters and spice aromas. A great creamy buttery whisky with flavours of butterscotch toffee. The finish is long and very distinguished.
-
The nose is fruity with some strong citrus scents emanating from the centre of the glass. After a while, a slight leathery aroma emerges. It is a very sweet whisky. The texture is almost like a good butter shortbread.
-
If you are looking for the big Glenfarclas sherry flavour, you will not find it here. But this bottling is enticing because it is an exception in the collection. Possibly even a liquid alternative to a cigar.
-
Although light on the eye, this has a wonderful nose. Think big juicy apples and autumn orchard fruits. A fantastic palate cleansing whisky with elegant creamy finish.
-
Pale gold in colour. Lovely delicate nose, vanillas, fresh orchard fruits and fresh pear notes. Sweet caramel, coconut and marzipan, very smooth. Nice long fresh finish.
-
This is a light whisky with no heavy flavours. Instead, experience the effect of lots of fruit dancing across your palate, acting like little pins and needles of flavour.
-
Intense. It's a very elegant whisky with a very good balance of nuttiness, fresh fruit and some liquorice.
-
Antique bronze in colour. After the initial power, underlying caramel sweetness, smoky with a sherry glaze. Big sherry tones present, bitter cocoa beans, demerara sugar, what I would classify as a typical Glenfarclas style. Long bitter sweet finish again demerara sugar and a light citrus note, orange and lime zest coming through on the finish.
-
This great, fresh whisky dances across your tongue, bursting with flavours of apples and pears, and a hint of kiwi fruit. Hints of vanilla are also present on the back of the tongue, with violet overtone. Well-balanced.
-
Light vanillas, soft cedar, and undertones of kiwi fruits. A delightful dram to have a drop of water in. Really releases a lot of orchard fruit flavours, also a hint of zestiness. An amazingly long finish, don't rush it.
