Its 12 months in contact with French oak shows complexity with dairy notes, a touch of nutmeg, and rich toast. Like the best Cabernets, a touch of tobacco is intermingled with its fruity character. The palate is well balanced with round tannins, good general structure, and a long and elegant finish.
