A rosé produced using the Saignée method, no dosage, no filtering, the Brut Nature Rosé is a cuvée which will delight lovers of freshness, minerality and purity. The Brut Nature Rosé unveils another facet of Rosé Champagne.
One of the rare Houses producing Rosé by the Saignée method. Several days of maceration give this cuvée an intense colour marked by the Pinot Noir. The bouquet shows hints of red fruits and violet with a lightly spiced note. Receiving only a light dosage, the palate is remarkably expressive and extremely fresh, with a subtle trace of liquorice on the finish.
The Grande Sendrée Cuvée takes its name from a parcel of land covered by cinders after the fire which ravaged Urville in 1838. A spelling error having slipped through in a new version of the land register, it is with an “s” that this cuvée is designated today.
The bouquet opens with delicate aromas of acacia, blood orange, pink grapefruit and subtle notes of sweet pastries. The palate it is poised with vibrant acidity giving great tension. The elegant flavours of almond and candied orange peel are well balanced with a saline freshness and a fine, delicate mousse on a crisp dry finish.
