The Hine company was founded in 1763 and has achieved world-wide recognition for bringing authentic cognac to new heights of perfection. Drawing inspiration from his five generations of Hine predecessors, Bernard Hine selects, nurtures and blends Hine cognacs according to a rigorous code of quality without ever losing sight of their primary objective of providing the greatest of pleasures. In addition to Signature Rare, Delicate, Antique Triomphe and Family Reserve, Hine is one of a few rare companies to propose vintage Grande Champagne cognacs. When he died, in 1822, he left more than a prosperous business. His legacy was a name already known and appreciated around the world for the exceptional quality of its cognacs.
A blend of some forty Eaux-de-Vie produced exclusively from Grande Champagne grapes. Even richer than the Homage, with notes of nougat and oak on the bouquet. Bold on the palate, with a rich salted caramel base that hints at coconut, milk chocolate, and red berries. The flavor is really packed in here, but the finish is quite gentle, with a slightly fruity, spicy, and mildly floral character that lingers forever.
