As well as the most up-to-date distillation equipment, Demerara Distillers possesses a wealth of traditional expertise, with old-style Demerara pot stills, and patent rum and alcohol stills. The last fully operating rectangular wooden Coffey still in the Western world continues to be used for the production of the companies finest spirits.
Clear in colour. The bouquet shows vibrant aromas of toasted meringue, coconut custard, hazelnut cream, and malted milk chocolate toffee follow through on a silky soft entry to a dryish palate with nice sugar cane, molasses, and honey roasted nut notes. Finishes with a long, grassy, earth sugar cane, mineral, and custard fade. Excellent depth and character on the finish.
