Crossroads was started in 1987 with the aim to produce the best possible wine from an exceptional place in an exceptional country – Hawke’s Bay in New Zealand. We are driven by the desire to bring you wines that set the benchmarks of what that variety can achieve in Hawke’s Bay. To achieve this, it became clear we had to have total control of our winegrowing and winemaking from start to finish. To that end, Crossroads purposely sourced and developed more vineyards. Today, all our Hawke’s Bay wines come from our own vineyards. Carefully selected parcels of land have been developed for each specific variety to ensure all care is given at every step in the process. As a small team, every decision is made to ensure that Crossroads wines are great not just good, but are crafted without ever compromising quality. Our signature wine, Talisman, reflects our belief that hard work and good fortune are closely linked and that only wine made with love can be truly great. All our Hawke’s Bay vineyards have been selected, bought, planned and developed purposely for the quality and style of wines we wanted to make at Crossroads. Our youngest vineyard dates from 2004, so our vines are well settled and mature. With careful vineyard management, they are delivering to our original vision.

Beautifully complex floral profile, with a vivid array of aromas ranging from clove and spice to violet and blueberry. Sweet, spicy fruits coat the palate, giving a lovely mouth-feel. The finish is long and integrated with red currant and black olive nuances.
