Product Description
Made as a special project by the talented house of Charles Ellner established in 1972. Ellner, who started his journey as a professional riddler who had been buying his own vineyards on the side and making small production champagnes for a small but dedicated clientele. The family holdings are at some 50 hectares which stretch across all major regions from north to south; Montagne de Reims, Vallee de la Marne, Côte de Blancs, Sezannais and far south in the Aube Valley. The house resides in Epernay and also has vineyards around the hills. In the hands of the fourth generation, the house now encompasses more than 54 hectares of vineyards, mainly in Valle de la Marne and Région de Sézanne, producing only about 1,000,000 bottles annually with their own styles, flavors and consistency in quality. Inspired by the armor that that the knights wore to protect the Kingdom of France and the copper roofs of Paris. It comes wrapped in a 100% copper suit of armor that keeps the champagne cooler for longer, as well as providing a beautiful distinctive look. The case is made entirely from second-generation copper scrap, which is transformed into a work of art.
A fresh and fruity wine, brimming with watermelon, strawberry and citrus notes. The vibrant structure and delicate mousse keep this focused and lively, it shows a creamy palate that balances acidity with a tantalizing kiss of sweetness on a long crisp finish.
