Opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson red hue. The bouquet displays aromas of ripe blackcurrants intermixed with some dark chocolate and subtle bay leaf followed by spicy cedary tobacco characters. Medium to full bodied with ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate flavours to the fore. Dryish finish with firmly built and slightly chewy tannins.
