Overlooking the Bassin de Thau and along the Domitian, Domaine de Morin-Langaran existed since 1330; at that time it was owned by a religious order, the Order of the Holy Spirit. During the wars of religion, the monks abandoned their property and family in turn assured maintenance; but François Engarran which gave it its name in 1595. The estate remained in the family until 1652 Engarran At the end of the First Empire, awareness of Picpoul was growing, life and vines resume their growth. In 1896 and 1897, represented the family Despetis the field Langaran for Picpoul and Clairette. The story says that the Empress Eugenie was tempted to buy this property as a second home. It was in 1966 that the Morin family became the owner of the domain. After Albert’s father, it is now the turn of daughter Caroline, a dynamic young winemaker who tries to express the fabulous land of the area through wines of great finesse and minerality.
Pale lemon in colour. The bouquet shows a discreet nose of white flowers & citrus aromas. The palate is gentle & refreshing with apricot kernel & lime notes, floral and perfectly balanced with hints of citrus and exotic fruits, this wine has a crisp acidity & a silky mouth-feel on the finish.
